Hi and welcome to my page… or welcome back to my page if this isn’t your first time!

I’m Dan; a musician and environmentalist who enjoys blurring the lines between unhealthy obsession and focused passion. As you can see from my photo above, I play guitar, and I write and sing too.

I played guitar for the first time when I was 8, and I was stunned. I can only imagine it was the same feeling that some caveman had when he banged a couple rocks and discovered fire. It changed my life. So here I am many years later, online, sharing a little of me and a lot of my music with you.

This website is a living thing. It reflects what’s going on in my life, both personally and musically. It’s the place to find out where my next show is, when my next EP drops, and the gateway to the other places I’m hang’n out at on the web.

I can’t thank you all enough for voting me in the top 5 for the Metromix / CBS sponsored contest for each of the final two rounds. It allowed the full band to play a gig in DC a couple weeks back which was filmed and eventually aired on TV this past Saturday (7/31) evening. The text voting to decide the overall winner concluded late Sunday night, and my friends in Crooked Crow eventually walked away with the most votes. Congrats to them! They had an impressive 40% of the votes (almost 19,000 total), and I ended up with nearly 13,000 votes (27%). I was proud to make it this far, and having the footage from the show to use on my website was really the ultimate prize in my little world. Several of the bands actually graciously contacted me after the show aired to express that they thought we sounded and looked the best and said they wouldn’t mind at all if I won. In fact, I really appreciate all of the comments and feedback I have received since the show aired.
